Handmade white Ketubah
This special Ketubah is made by hand - from a frame decorated with delicate paper cuts to a calligraphy of the text chosen by the couple.
It is a Ketubah with motifs symbolizing abundance and good luck: pomegranates, wheat, vines, fish and a Menorah.
The Ketubah is based on an in-depth study of ancient inscriptions out of a desire to connect to an age-old tradition.
This is a ketubah that is a work of art that you can hang at home and observe, even when there are bumps in the marital path. It is a work of art that frames the contract you make between you.
So how do you order a ketubah and other information you need to know...
The Ketubah is made of two layers: the bottom layer is a frame of paper cuts, and the top layer is a calligraphy of the text selected by the couple (it is possible to send text that the couple themselves are writing or ready-made text).
Ketubah size: 40X40 cm.
The paper from which the ketubah is made is quality acid-free paper, which will be durable and will not change color for years.
So how do you order a ketubah?
You need to send me the text you want me to write (please leave your exact details in the order form - including phone call and email). The text should include all your personal details such as: your names (first name + last name), the names of the parents on both sides, where you are getting married, on what date you are getting married.
You can write the text with whoever is marrying you or if you are getting married in a traditional ceremony, you need to confirm the text you want to have on your Ketubah with the Rabbi who will conduct the ceremony.
2. After you send me the text, I will make sure with you that everything is clear. I will then write your text in manual calligraphy. After writing the text it will not be possible to change the text. I will of course send you the text for approval.
3. I attach the written text to the frame of the paper cuts.
Both the paper I write on and the paper I cut - both are fine papers, free of acid, so that the color of the paper will not change over the years.
4. I pack the ketubah well and send it to you (wherever you want the ketubah to arrive) with a courier to the house.
Some things that are important to consider:
1. The duration of the work from the moment of receiving the text is 5-7 working days.
2. Delivery time is up to 10 days (excluding Saturdays and holidays).
If you need the ketubah faster - please talk to me and we will see how we can speed up the process for you.
